Black and White

October 31, 2010

X was created by Dodie Smith in 1956, and X’s name is a play on two words. X’s county house is nicknamed “Hell Hall”. In Spanish, X’s name is a play on the word “villain”. In the original story, X is a pampered London heiress who was expelled from school for drinking ink. X is the last of her prosperous and notorious family, and is married to a furrier who supplies X’s obsessions, like the white mink coat. In the Big Bang Theory episode, ‘The Bat Jar Conjecture’, Raj suggests that they use an evil laughter as a psychological threat against Sheldon and Howard points out that his evil laughter is more like X’s laughter.

Id X.
